Where the game falls short is playing against the computer.
During the game after every move, words will appear at the top of the screen; Excellent, Book Move, Mistake, Inaccuracy, Blunder and others. That would be great if it told you WHY the move was "excellent" or a "blunder". I've won several times after making "blunders" and lost when taking the blunder back and doing the move rhe computer suggested instead. There seems to be no logic to it. Thanks for your feedback.

Everytime you make a move that will ultimately win you the game or an advantage, the game 'conveniently' ends in a draw. Can't undo once the game ends in a draw to get a checkmate. Most unsatisfying chess game. Do not waste your time downloading, there are many better and more difficult chess apps out there. The app is OK. I wouldn't go beyond that. It plays quickly. Its move algorithms are in line with levels of play. It's there, but it's subtle and takes getting use to. It doesn't give numerical values to levels of play. It doesn't give resign or abandon options. The levels are very good and the difficult level has a brilliant algorithm and logic. I love this game and in this app, you can sharpen your skills. It's the best chess apps. It would have been better if there could be different themes of boards and pieces and also if there is an option to retire rather than playing all through out and then coming to a draw.
